I have found
that I will laugh every single time I hear Beavis laugh. Without fail. Every single time. I don't have to hear what was said. Nothing. You could put it on a loop and have it play over and over again and I will laugh nonstop. It cracks me up every time.

New football boyfriend
I still love Plaxico but he has hurt my heart. I am going to have to work up an intense crush on somebody else to help mend it.
I present to you (for at least the rest of the season): Peyton Hillis
LOOK AT HIS ARMS!!!!!! I am mesmerized by his left arm in that picture up there. I might make it my desktop background. mmmmuscles

He is way too young for me in reality but in Imaginary Boyfriend Land, he is fair game. I like that he's a total meathead and beats his chest like a caveman when he scores touchdowns. I like watching him workout.
I like that he jumps over people, barrels through people, drags people and does whatever he has to do to get positive yardage. He has great hands. I know nothing about his personal life and I don't want to. I don't want him to break my heart, you know. I just want to, you know, crush on his meatheadedness.
For some reason, I can't work up an intense crush on any Steelers. I'm not sure why that is. I do, however, have something for Heath Miller. Something like adoration. I almost had a crush on Santonio Holmes but I saw something that scared me away. I love my Steelers. Maybe that's why I can't have crushes on them. I mean like intense, want to run away and live on a desserted island with them and be their sex slaves and have their babies kind of crushes. Or throw myself at their feet and wrap my entire body around their legs so they can never get away kind of crushes. I'll have to go to Denver for that.

See? These two little Jets guys must feel the same way.

Things that other bloggers make you want/do
I don't want to obsess over fantasy football today. The only player I have on my roster that is playing tonight is the Jets Defense. I've gone back and forth about playing them or Carolina but I've decided to play Carolina's D. So watch for the Jets D to have tons of sacks and a possible touchdown or two. But I said I wasn't going to obsess.
OT appears to be down for the third day in a row. Or is it just me?
I went to the SYTYCD tour on Saturday with emydi. We waited around for a little while after so I could meet Mark. We both knew that I'd never forgive myself if I didn't. After about a half hour (or maybe ten minutes), I said, "We can go." She said, "No. They'll be out in like ten minutes. Give me your camera so I can take your picture with him." There were two girls beside us in their early twenties waiting to see Twitch. They were funny. We were all talking about the pre-teen girls squealing and laughing at them. A guy came out and told us that they would be at least another half hour. They had a meet and greet and then wanted to take showers and THEN they'd be out. The two twenties looked at eachother and left. A bunch of pre-teens took their spot. I said, "What are we doing here?" emy said, "We are here so you can meet Mark." I said, "Well yeah. But for what?" She said we were waiting. Then the one pre-teen started talking about her braces and emy busted out laughing. We felt really old. I said, "Come on. Let's go." She asked if I was sure and I said I was. She parked at the bottom of the hill and I parked at the top. We parted ways and I called my husband. This is the same garage I park in every day for work. When I leave, I drive past the event center. Traffic was backed up from behind my car the whole way through the garage and the outer lot to the street. As I was getting into my car and getting situated, I said to Shawn, "Maybe I should walk back down. I'd rather wait for Mark than sit in traffic." Then I raised my head and the traffic was gone. It was really strange. It cleared out completely in under a minute. So I went home. I looked down at the event center on my way past and they still hadn't come out. I called Jen to tell her about the show. She said, "you're going to regret not waiting." I said, "probably. But why?" She said, "That's true. You'd just mumble something unintelligible and walk away." That cracked me up and that's why I told you this big long rambling story. I would just like to note that the unintelligible mumbling was a long time ago AND it was Jared Leto. I've come a long way since then. However, I do think I'd likely resort back to unintelligible mumbling and red face if I am ever face to face with Jared Leto again though.
So the title of this post is about Frodis. She made me want Certs. Not 96 rolls but I would like one single roll of winterfresh or wintergreen or whatever they call it. I was addicted to wintergreen Lifesavers once. Don't laugh. It was a serious addiction and very hard to break.
And the time seemed kind of right for this:
1. What date is your anniversary: November 19, 2005
2. Where did you get married: Las Vegas
3. Who proposed and how? Shawn proposed. There's a post about this on OT that I would love to copy and paste here but since I can't I'll give a brief rundown. He took me to dinner and the waiter brought out a tray full of desserts. I said I didn't want dessert and he said, "you should at least look. They're wonderful desserts." So I looked. He had it held up high and tilted slightly so I could really only see one plate at a time. He said, "you could have this," and there was a great big piece of chocolate cake, "or this," and there was cheesecake, "or this," and there was some pie or something, "or this," and there was a diamond ring in a red box on a plate. It was romantic and memorable and creative. And I love him more every time I tell the story. (Shawn not the waiter.)
4. How long were you engaged: like a year and a half (I think)
5. What was your favorite part of your wedding day: all of it. It was a great day. I had my hair done up all fancy. I loved the guy who did my hair. We talked a little about Jared Leto (30STM was in town that day and I had just seen them with Jen two weeks earlier ~ the mumbling and breaking free of his grasp to run away incident) and he said he's a tool. I had my makeup done. I've never had the money to do that kind of thing. Probably even if I did, I wouldn't. So that was neat and different. It made me feel pretty. Shawn's cousin happened to be in town for a convention so her and her husband (Shawn's boss) got to be our witnesses. After the limo driver dropped them off at their hotel, he drove around a little so we could drink champagne and then took us to the restaurant. We went back to the hotel and changed into our Bride and Groom baseball shirts and walked around for a while. What a perfect day.
6. What would you change if you could: I wish I would have lost weight. I still haven't had any wedding pictures printed because I feel bad that he had such a gross bride.
7. What were your wedding colors: there was some red
8. Remember anything special about your wedding ceremony: it was all special. ha. After the vows, the preacher/minister/whatever looked at me kind of quizically said, "What is your last name, Gloria?" I smiled and said, "{my new last name}". He said, "you'd be surprised how many new brides I get with that one."
9. Were you clean or messy when you cut your cake: (note: our cake came with our reception two weeks later) I was clean until he got messy
10. Where did you go on your honeymoon: Las Vegas was our honeymoon. We went on a cruise about a year and a half later though.
Also? Frodis made my ovaries wiggle around a lot. *hold on to ovaries*
My friend who moved to Wyoming is pregnant. She's coming up on five months now. I decided to send some baby stuff with her Christmas card and dog cookies so I was looking around at baby things yesterday. oy. The ovaries, they scream when looking at itty bitty blankets and onesies and stuff. I have to hush them by hunting down some obnoxious toddler in the store or pulling up horrifyingly annoying memories of my niece and nephew (I lived with them for a year during the toddler stage). I keep telling myself that there is never a right time. But this? isn't the right time. Yet.
I am getting my tattoo touchups on Tuesday the 18th.
